VASCII Codes
\ASCII codes are the actual letters or codes that can be
seen on the screen. Most of these letters can be entered
directly from you keyboard. Some codes (like the ESC
key) are entered using their decimal equivalent.
LFor example, to enter an ESC, hold down the ALT key and
enter its decimal value of 027 then release the Alt key.
You will see a '
', its screen character.
SMost printers use an ESC to start a printer code. For
example:
wHP LASER
Condensed on:
+Decimal Vaule: 027 038 107 050 083
KYou can toggle between the ASCII and DECIMAL value using
the F10 key.

WWhat to Enter
The codes are unique for each printer and will control
the different features it offers. They are normally
listed in the user manual for each printer.
Note that
not all printers support all features. If you find a
code that isn't listed, look for a synonym.
QFor example, some printers refer to EMPHASIZED while
others call it BOLD. Both mean the same.
SIf you can not find a printer code for a feature,
leaving it blank will usually work just fine.

codes. Any code (including the NULL character) can be
entered using its decimal code. Each code is a number
between 0 and 255. Leading zeros don't need to be
entered. Each code must be seperated from the next with
a space.
tFor example:
5HP LASER
Pica pitch: 027 038 107 048 083

OUpdate Printer Controls
You can either type them in with the ASCII code or
Decimal equivalent.
Example: ASCII
&d0D Decimal 027 038 100 048 068
As you can see it would be a lot quicker to enter
the codes in ASCII. To enter codes in ASCII
all you need to do is hold the Alt key down while
typing in the decimal code. This is only neccessary
when the key is not on the keyboard.
VNote: Null character <
> MUST be entered in the
